Richmond leads the User Experience practice at Manulife, where a team of talented, knowledgeable and dedicated UX professionals is transforming the digital ecosystem of one of Canada’s most prominent brands and working on intriguing fintech challenges. Focused on the creation and delivery of end-to-end experiences, the Manulife team takes insight from data and research to craft elegant solutions that balance usability and uniqueness. Most exciting is the possibility of making a real impact on the wellbeing of millions of Canadian lives by simplifying decisions and creating value.

Richmond has worked in New Zealand, the UK and Canada in a variety of creative and leadership roles, ranging from agencies to corporate, across industries from auto to entertainment, and on brands such as Porsche, Toyota, Sony and Cisco. Having pushed pixels and sketched ideas for over 20 years in the fields of UX, brand strategy and art direction, he’s most excited by the intersection of design, technology and behavioural psychology in ways that elevate the human experience and drive business revenue.

Mark Lannutti

Mark Lannutti

Head of User Experience @ BMO, NA Digital Channels

Mark joined BMO in 2017 as the Head, User Experience and he leads all retail banking and wealth experience design work for BMO in Canada and BMO Harris in the US. His group is focused on partnering with business and technology teams and embedding a human-centered design approach on all the projects with the goal of delivering digital solutions that solve for true customer needs.

Mark has spent the last 20 years building and leading UX and Design Thinking teams at large organizations as well as at smaller start-ups. He has extensive experience working in the Financial Services industry, heading up experience designs teams at BMO, Sun Life Financial, CIBC, and TD Bank.

Mark holds a BAA degree in New Media from Ryerson University, along with certifications in IDEO Design Thinking, Human Factors International CUA, and process engineering. Mark lives in friendly Burlington Ontario with his wife, two kids and their fantastic dog Dante.

Bringing almost two decades of digital experience - from extensive user experience strategy & product design, visual design standards & languages, Deepika is deeply passionate about the value good, informed design can bring to people, not just to bottom lines. Most of her career has been focused on challenging and changing conventions in the corporate workplace. She is currently leading a design practice as the VP of User Experience & Design at Cineplex Entertainment.
